RE:                   SUMMARY OF THE JUNE 8TH TAC MEETING

 

The following is a summary of the June 8th WCCTAC-TAC meeting.  The sign-in sheet is attached (for mailed copies).

 

1.                  STMP Update – Staff reported that the Ordinance (and related documents) was going to the Councils/Board of Supervisors in June.  Staff will be attending most meetings and can provide additional information for staff reports/Agenda Bills, if necessary.

 

2.                  Strategic Plans for Measure J and STMP Projects – The Strategic Plans need to be developed in concert as most projects are in both Measure J and the STMP update.  Staff is negotiating with Dowling Associates to prepare the STMP Strategic Plan.  More information will be presented to the TAC and the WCCTAC Board over the next several months.

 

3.                  Urban Limit Line Overview – Patrick Roche from Contra Costa County presented an overview of the Urban Limit Line issue and answered questions. 

 

4.                  San Pablo Avenue SMART Corridor Project – Cyrus Minoofar from the Alameda CMA presented current information on the project including the need for additional Operations and Management funding.  Also discussed was the Amendment No. 1 to the MOU for the Center-to-Center Program.  Cyrus noted that MTC staff will be following up with the local jurisdictions on this item.

 

5.                  Project Updates – Projects noted on the agenda were discussed.  The TFCA Regional Fund Applications are due on July 24th.

 

6.                  There were no pubic comments; no additional business was discussed.

 

The next TAC meeting will be on Thursday, July 13th, 2006 at 9:00 am at

the City of San Pablo.
